Welcome! My name is Anja Wurm. I graduated from Tufts Veterinary School in 1998 and quickly landed in Vergennes, Vermont. The beauty of the valley, the mountains, and a great vet practice drew me here.
I consider myself very lucky to be able to do what I love. Over the 17 years since I graduated I have found that the connection I have with the human and the beast is what keeps me so excited to work. Be it a tough cancer case, a never ending ear infection, a first puppy visit or a sad euthanasia, I love that I can help the people and the animals.
In 2012 I moved with my husband, two children, two cats and a dog to the Netherlands; adventure, bike riding and a big change were the motivating factors. Kismet and social media connected me with an Australian veterinarian running a new housecall practice. I immediately felt I had found my next career move. The connection with the clients and the pets was even better then what I had experienced before. I learn so much more about the pet by seeing he or she in their own environment. When we moved back to Vermont in August of 2014 I knew I wanted to continue what I had been doing in the Netherlands so I started my first business: Full Circle Home Veterinary Care.
I want to care for your animals from the moment they come into your home until the day when it is time say goodbye. I will provide exceptional medicine, uncompromising honesty and open communication to all my clients and their pets and hopefully change the way you and your pet view veterinary care.
