Hi! I’m Anja
I provide exceptional medicine, uncompromising honesty, and open communication to all my clients and their pets. My mission is to change the way you and your pet view veterinary care.
About Me
I opened Full Circle Home Veterinary Care in 2014 after returning from the Netherlands where I lived with my family for two years and where I discovered the incredible life of a housecall vet. It was an astonishing experience, outshining all that I already loved about veterinary work. The connection I had with the animals was deeper because I had more time to listen to the owners and watch their pets in their own environment. The quality of my medicine improved as well, I was able to make accurate diagnoses and prescribe therapies the owners could give their pets. I knew I wanted to build on my experience in the Netherlands here in Addison County when I got back to Vermont, so in 2014 Full Circle Home Veterinary Care was born.
Since starting the practice, doing euthanasias at home has become my passion. I have learned that when I offer non-judgmental advice, empathy, and compassion for both the animal and their humans I make a huge difference in all of their lives. Being at home means that there is space for family members to be present to the extent they are comfortable. They can lay next to their pet, or wait outside if that feels right. There’s also flexibility for the pet to be wherever they’re most comfortable, and there's the privacy to grieve without restraint.
It’s an honor to help your pet, who has given so much to your family, pass on peacefully. To me, euthanasia is a gift that I am so glad we, as veterinarians, are able to give.
I chose the name Full Circle for my practice because I want to care for your animals from the moment they come into your home until the day it is time to say goodbye.
Our Team Goals
My team and I are committed to providing exceptional, honest veterinary care in the comfort of your home. We want your pet to feel safe and loved and we want you to feel like your beloved has gotten the best care available. We make sure you feel confident about the next steps in your pet's care, and make ourselves available for your questions, and your follow-up questions.
Dr. Scott Sutor, DVM
Dr. Scott Sutor brings nearly 30 years of veterinary experience to Full Circle Home Veterinary Care, including 28 years at Middlebury Animal Hospital. He joined the practice in 2025 to offer a more personal, less stressful approach to care—one that meets pets where they are, both physically and emotionally.
Scott believes the best care is collaborative. He works closely with pet owners to understand each animal’s unique needs and to create thoughtful, realistic care plans that support both the pet and the family. By providing care in the home, he’s able to see what might otherwise be missed, and help pets feel more comfortable in the process.
He has a particular appreciation for the role in-home care can play during life’s most tender moments. By offering services like at-home euthanasia, Scott helps families say goodbye in a familiar, peaceful environment—minimizing stress and creating space for a more humane and connected experience.
Scott earned his DVM from Cornell University and has spent his career supporting the bond between people and their animals. Outside of work, he is owned by a couple of dogs, enjoys vegetable gardening (if they would just weed themselves), exploring the Green Mountain State with his partner Angela, making pizza, and getting too involved in woodworking projects.
Liz Marcotte
Liz is a veterinary nurse who started at Full Circle in 2019 working behind the scenes, keeping the team on the road working smoothly by checking emails throughout the day and calling in prescriptions and orders that clients request. Happily, in 2022 she was able to join us on the road as well to use her many years of experience working in animal hospitals. She’s so happy to meet all of you and your pets in person now!
